GOVERNOR WANGAMATI PENS MOU WITH WEST KENYA SUGAR FOR ROAD MAINTENANCE
Bungoma governor Wycliff Wangamati signed the Momorandum of Understanding with the General Manager for Naitiri Sugar Factory Mr. Naguvanahally Venkatappa.
The MOU will help in road maintainance.
In the MOU, the Factory has agreed to maintain roads in Tongaren and Webuye East where West Kenya trucks operate.
On the table, too, was a request to have the soon to be opened Factory partner with county’s Vocational Training Institutes in offering attachment and internship opportunities for students.
Accompanying the Governor were CECMs Maurice Naulikha-Trade, Collins Mukhongo-Roads, CO Dr. Caroline Masete for Sports, DCoS Mr. Chelongo, Tongaren Constituency Manager Mr. Nangalama and other officers from the County.
