Happy Valley Group Schools Perform Well in KCPE
There was song and dance at Happy Valley Group schools Chepkanga after the school emerged among the best-performing schools in the County.
Michele Jeptoo who scored 400 marks said the results were not gotten through a silver platter but through hard work and determination.
“I want to thank the Almighty, teachers, and parents for the support they gave unto me and I promise not to let the school down. My dream school is Limuru Girls and would like to be a biparsurgeon in the future.
Stephanie Chepkorir who scored 401 marks “I did not believe that I would get these marks thanks to all those who made it happen, want to join St Brigirts Girls and be biparsurgeon in the future,”
The school had 161 candidates.
Bethuel Too principal of Happy Valley Schools Eldoret said they are proud of the results and thanked parents, students, and other stakeholders for making it happen.
“We had a mean score of 374 with a candidature of 161 candidates this year. Thanks to Director Naomi Tarus’s parents and hardworking learners who made us proud this year,” he said.
The group of schools comprises Happy Valley Chepkanga, Happy Valley Teresia, Happy Valley Chebarus and Kaptuli.
Mrs Chepkolel Jacklyn BOM Chair says “I am grateful for such an amazing performance and I wish all students well in their endeavors,”
Jomo David the principal of Happy Valley Chepkanga School thanked students for their commitment to making the school shine.
“First of all, we want to thank the Almighty for that exemplary performance this year which has been attributed to the discipline of the learners, the hard work of the teachers, and the cooperation of parents. May God bless you,” he said.
“The top student scored 406 marks while the last one scored 305 marks
there was a slight improvement although we expected more candidates with 400 marks,” he said.
Naomi Tarus the Manager of Happy Valley group schools Chepkanga, Kaptuli, Teresia, and Happy Valley Chebarus thanked God for the great performance since the school was started.
“We want to thank God for the good results which were gotten through the hard work between parents, teachers, and students. For all those who made this happen May God bless you, ” he said.
