Hon Irene Njoki notes”Today, I joined H.E Deputy President H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH Energy CS David ChirChir, Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika , MP Gathambi,Samuel Gachobe and other leaders for the Menengai Geothermal Project Globeleq Power Plant groundbreaking ceremony.
I’m excited to have Globeleq set up the second 35MW power plant in Menengai crater that will go along way in supplementing our current power demand.
Through this project my constituents will see internship projects, education & sports scholarships, tree planting to conserve our environment, road maintenance, boreholes and improvement of our health facilities.”
