How Schools in Uasn Gishu Performed in This Year’s KCPE
Parents and candidates from Uasin Gishu who excelled in KCPE 2023 continued celebrating their victory with the best candidates hoping to join their dream schools without discrimination.
Hill School Primary Principal Hesborne Ngaira Misachi thanked parents and students for their cooperation which led to the school performing well.
“If we compare this year and last year we have done so well coz last year those who had 400 plus were 14 but this s year we have 45 which is a good number and we are saying glory to God,” said the Hill school primary school principal.
He said the students performed well since they were disciplined and obedient and wished them well in their endeavors.
Amber Peace who scored 411 says “ I thank teachers, parents, and God I don’t take it for granted. I would like to join Pangani Girls which is my dream school and thereafter be a pediatrician,”
Hope Bett who scored 403 marks said it was not gotten through a silver platter but through hard work and determination.
Christina Ayako from GreenVale School Eldoret who scored 420 marks thanked teachers and parents for supporting her.
“I would like to thank the school administration, parents, and my fellow students for making it happen. I would like to join Moi Girls Eldoret and thereafter be journalistic in the future,” Ayako said.
Shirleen Nyakundi who scored 400 marks attributed her success to her parents, students God, and the school administration.
Norah Ferej the school Director of Greenvale thanked the students for making the school proud by closing the 844 chapter and ushering the Competency Curriculum in style.
“These are excellent results for us and we celebrate them. We had a great spirit of teamwork throughout the year with parents and teachers coming together to encourage them by providing them with every support they needed,” she said.
“We wish them success in all their endeavors as they join to form one and beyond and we know they will continue to excel since we have given them a strong foundation at Greenvale School,” she added.
Bethuel Kipkorir from Achievers School Eldoret got 420 marks and attributed his success to hard work and determination.
Matoi Francis deputy head teacher “We are happy but we didn’t expect this, we thank God for the results. Our mean score has improved from lasy year’s 367 to this year’s 385 this shows when trust the Lord you will get good results,”
Green Park Academy Eldoret was not also left behind where Tina Wanja a top student got 419 marks.
“I want to thank God because of the good results I didn’t expect it.I would like to join Kenya High School and be a marine biologist,” she said.
“We are excited with this year’s results where we managed a mean score of 383 this year compared to 363 last year with the top candidate getting 419 marks. We thank God for these results with a couple of students getting 400 marks and above,” Peter Mwaura Gichuki school administrator said.
Eldo Baraka School top student Romana Wangoi who scored 402 marks thanked the Almighty for her success terming it as God send.
“From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank my teachers, and parents for their success without them I could have done nothing. I want to join Moi Girls High School and be a surgeon in the future,” he said.
“My secret was to work smart and put God first, my dream school is St Brigits Highschool Kiminini,” said Triza Chebet 395
Dr Kahatete Dorisd Eldo Baraka School Director said she is happy with the results ushering in the CBC.
“We want to thank the candidates they worked tirelessly and we always reminded them that it was the last exams and we are happy they made us proud,” he said.
“We put God first and work as a team, where everybody is treated as important as any other. We encourage students to believe in God and we have a policy where we follow up with students both locally and internationally.
