I Have Not Ditched UDA Party- Didmus Barasa, Kimilili MP

Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has refuted claims that he is planning to ditch UDA party which is led by the deputy president William Samoei Ruto.

Through his official Facebook page he said he is strongly in the hustler movement and should ignore such rumours.

“I call on Kenyans of goodwill to ignore the fake news about my commitment in the Hustler Nation, I’m a member of the United Democratic Alliance because this is where all Kenyans have a chance to grow and the team that will bring back our economy after forming government,” he said.

Barasa who was elected on a jubilee party ticket is a staunch supporter of the deputy president William Samoei Ruto who has declared his presidential bid in the forthcoming general elections.

He is a big critique of the opposition leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in the forthcoming general elections trming him as not fit for the presidency.

The top-down, vertical power relationships of the past are being replaced by a more evenly distributed, bottom-up variety. We are focused in ensuring every Kenyan gets a sustainable living.

He will be defending his seat using the UDA party ticket and its only time that will tell if he will be relected or not.
