I Will Restore Busia’s Lost Glory- Governor Otuoma
Busia County governor Dr Paul Nyongesa Otuoma now says he will restore the County’s lost glory.
He says Busia is known for having produced the greatest medical doctors in this country.
“Among them we have specialists like Prof. Hillary Ojiambo and Prof. Bwibo. Somehow along the way, we lost this respectful position in this country,” he said.
He said he is working around the clock to ensure that the county produces more doctors as it did before.
“I will also revamp the health sector to offer efficient and quality medical services. My aim is to ensure that residents from all divides get quality and not quantity health services,” he added.
He revealed this while condoling with the family and friends of the late Mzee Joel Nyegenye (1938-2022) at Sio Port, Samia Sub County.
