Jonathan Bii Alias ‘Koti Moja’ Refutes Claims of Abductng Julius Bitok’s Blogger
Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Jonathan Bii alias Koti Moja has refuted claims that he was involved in the abduction of Bitok’s digital strategists Tony Chumba.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret Bii said the allegations are uncalled for and ill intended only meant to tarnish his good name.
“I want to refute claims by my competitor that my goods kidnapped his blogger, first of alli don’t have goons and I am a peaceful man and I have never been involved in hooliganism their aim is just to get sympathy votes,” Bii said while speaking to the press.
He reterated that is sad that he got thee information on the same through social media noting that he is involved in clean politics and that his competitor are gunning up to brand him as a hooligan.
“How can I abduct a blogger which is not even known I have never heard about him yet we are told he is a serious blogger ,if here is any evidence concerning the same let them report thee matter to the police station,” he said.
“It is uncalled for a politician of his caliber to utter such words since I have been doing my politics, campaigns in a peaceful manner, I know they have felt I will defeat them that why thye are trying all ways to remain relevant,” he added
He wondered why police have not contacted him for sure it was his supporters who were involved in the abduction.
Koti Moja called on his competitors to campaign peacefully and avoid divding Kenyans basing on their political of tribal affiliations.
“We need peace in our county and Bii is a peaceful man and in my meetings I have been advocating for peaceful coexistence , my competitors should relax preach peach peace. I don’t subscribe to hooliganism,” he added.
This comes after Julius Bitok accused Biii of abducting his blogger cum strategist.
” I wish to hereby call out one of my competitors for notoriety and consistent use of violence in his campaigns. This is not the first time that such thuggish behavior is being witnessed, in the past few weeks he has insistently tried to lock me and some other aspirants from accessing some parts of Eldoret town,” he said.
He accused his competitor in the gubernatorial race for the same.
“The hooliganism being perpetuated by this single gubernatorial aspirant should be brought to an end. Use of violence to intimidate competitors is outdated and belongs to the KANU era. We urge our opposing team not to transfer those mannerisms to our new political party UDA,” he added.
