JOY AS KISII POLICE COMANDER GAVE HOPE TO CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY AT AGAPE SPECIAL CENTER
It was all smiles at Agape Special Centre, Kiambu after Kisii Police Commander, a reknown philanthropist visited the children’s home.
The centre hosts children with cerebral palsy, a disorder characterized by abnormal tone, posture and movement.
The County Boss has consistently raised awareness against this condition with emphasis on providing physical support to people living with disabilities (PLWDs).
In his visit, the Police Commander donated 4 cerebral palsy wheelchairs. The children could not hide their infectious smiles as they received their gifts. The aids will provide a comfortable and efficient mode of movement for the children.
We applaud the senior officer for his touching gesture that gives hope to needy and vulnerable children, and to people living with disabilities.
His, is a true practice of the sanctity of his faith, with the sacred call, “Let all children come to me.” And an act that brings honour to our people-driven policing under the Community Policing programme.
