Jubilee Announces Major Changes in Its Leadership
Jubilee party has made changes in its top leadership.
Speaking during the National Delegates conference, the party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni said those who were expelled showed allegiance with the Kenya Kwanza faction.
“We will not allow people who do not respect and comply with the party regulations to continue being part of it,” said Jeremiah Kioni.
Those who were expelled include Kanini Kega and Sabina Change for showing interest in supporting Kenya Kwanza in trying to dismantle and destabilize the party.
Kioni made the following changes in the deputy party leadership position; Beatrice Gambo(strategy), Maoka Maore (Operations), Joshua Manje (Programmes), and Kados Muiruri(Outreach).
Otters Saitoti Torome as the chairman, Yasin Noor as the Deputy SG, Pauline Njoroge for Deputy Organizing secretary, National director election – Jamleck Kamau, Women League – Maison Leshomo, Youth League chair – Agnes Thumbi, Business council – Nderitu Murithi and Parliament Secretary – Amina Siyad.
Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Roots Party leader George Wajakoya and DAPK party leader Eugene Wamalwa
were in attendance.
Kioni added that the Azimio coalition won the elections but their votes were stolen by the Kenya Kwanza coalition which also tried to engage some jubilee officials in gathering information about their party and reporting back to them.
