Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant on a UDA party Julius Bitok’s digital strategists Tony Chumba alias Barmuriat muriat has been kidnapped
Bitok termed the mice as unfortunate and ill intended.
“One of my digital strategist Tony Chumba ( Barmuriat muriat ) has been kidnapped by unknown people this evening in Eldoret town. We have taken the matter to the concerned authorities and investigations have began,” said Nitoke while speaking to the press.
He called on his competitors to tolerate other competitors.
“As we pray for him, I wish to hereby call out one of my competitors for noterioty and consistent use of violence in his campaigns. This is not the first time that such thuggish behavior is being witnessed, in the past few weeks he has insistently tried to lock me and some other aspirants from accessing some parts of Eldoret town,”he added.
He noted that hooliganism being perpetuated by this single gubernatorial aspirant should be brought to an end.
“Use of violence to intimidate competitors is outdated and belongs to the KANU era. We urge our opposing team not to transfer those mannerisms to our new political party UDA.I urge all residents of Uasin Gishu to be keen and not give any opportunity to such characters to ascend to power,” he said.
He called on all people of good will to pray for Tony as they remain hopeful that he will get back to us safe.
