Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya Mourns the Deth of Mr Peter Atsiaya
Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya has sent a message of condolences to the family and friends of Mr Peter Atsiaya.
Through his official Facebook page Oparaanya termed the deceased a dedicated Christian who served diligently as a Presiding Clerk, Friends Church Vihiga Yearly Meeting.
“My sincere condolences to Mr Peter Atsiaya who serves as Head of Governor’s Press Unit in my Government and his family following the death of their father Mzee Hezekiah Angaya Atsiaya.Mzee Angaya who has died at the age of 94 years was a dedicated Christian who served diligently as a Presiding Clerk, Friends Church Vihiga Yearly Meeting,” said the Kakamega governor.
“We have lost a hardworking and insightful person who contributed to the wellbeing of the society by shaping the lives of many learners he taught during his time as a teacher.May God grant his family fortitude, peace and comfort during this trying moment. Rest in peace Mzee Angaya,” he added.
Kenyans used his post to send their messages of condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
