Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has once again taken a firm stance against the current Kenya Kwanza administration, declaring that his party will continue to challenge the regime peacefully, without resorting to violence. Speaking at a public address on Tuesday, Musyoka emphasized the importance of free political association and criticized the alleged intimidation tactics used against opposition supporters.

“We will criticize this Kenya Kwanza regime, but we will not pick up a panga or a stone to fight our fellow Kenyans. Our struggle will remain peaceful,” Musyoka told a crowd of supporters. “The time for hard talk is coming, and we will ensure that Kenyans are free to associate with whichever political group they choose without fear or intimidation.”

The opposition leader accused the government of using the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to harass business people who are seen associating with members of the opposition. Musyoka revealed that many prominent businessmen were now afraid to engage with opposition figures for fear of facing punitive action from the taxman.

“Many in the business community are living in fear, unable to express their political views because they fear retribution from the state,” he said. “The KRA has been weaponized to target these individuals simply for associating with opposition leaders. This is not how democracy should function.”

Kalonzo Musyoka urged the government to embrace democratic principles and stop using state machinery to intimidate citizens based on their political affiliations. He called on all Kenyans to stand firm in their commitment to reclaiming the country and safeguarding its democratic values.

“We will not walk away from the challenge of liberating Kenya. We will stand with our fellow Kenyans to reclaim our country, and we will do so with dignity and respect,” Musyoka declared. “It is time for the government to understand that political freedom is a right, not a privilege.”

The Wiper Party leader’s remarks come as tensions continue to rise between the government and opposition, with calls for reforms and greater political space for dissenting voices in the country.

Musyoka concluded his speech by reiterating that the pursuit of justice and democratic ideals will remain at the core of their mission. “We are in this for the long haul, and we will not relent until every Kenyan can live freely, without fear of political persecution,” he said.
