Kandara Residents Association Geoffrey Kairu has welcomed the directives by President William Ruto for the stakeholders on Delmonte land to sit down and resolve the matter.
He says since the land cut across the two counties the Ministry of land or Parliament Land committee on its role of representatives of public interest and oversight should call for the all stakeholders meeting unlock the stalemate.
“The stakeholders should approach the matter on a win – win solutions for all parties.
If the stakeholders agree on the out of court settlement, then the Ministry of land in conjunction with NLC should implement NLC determination and parliament recommendations as it’s the only available determination,” he said.
