
Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi has applauded the Court of Appeal for declaring the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) null and void.
Speaking during the engagement with residents of Kipkaren Estate, Kipkenyo Ward, Kapseret Constituency, now says that jubilee administration should now focus on delivering the Big Four agenda.
“We thank God for delivering us favourable judgement in the Court of Appeal. Now that BBI reggae is behind us we should focus on delivering to the people,” said the Kapseret member of parliament and a close ally of the deputy president William Ruto.
This comes after the court of Appeal on Friday nullified the BBI bill terming it as nullamd void.
He says Kenyan constitution is meant to protect the rights and interest of 50 million Kenyans, it’s not a private property of one family or a few individuals.
“Dynasties should know that the people will always choose a leader on their own and no one particular leader shall be imposed to Kenyans. They should learn to respect our democracy,” he added.
He called on president Uhuru Kenyatta to now concentrate on Building the economy of the economy of the country which has deteriorated.
