Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi Refutes Claims of Endorsing Any Gubernatorial Aspirant
Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi now says he will not support any Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant in the forthcoming party nominations.
Speaking to the press Sudi said all aspirants should sell their manifestos to their electorates.
“I want to say here in broad daylight that I have no preferred gubernatorial aspirant in the forthcoming party primaries and no one should cheat you that I have endorsed them,” said Sudi while speaking to the press.
He reiterated that it’s shame that some gubernatorial aspirants are moving around saying that he has endorsed him.
“Let them sell their manifestos to you and you are the one who will decide who will be your governor after the term of governor Mandago will end. I will not allow anyone to have my name for their benefit,” Sudi added.
Sudi is a close ally of the deputy president William Samoei Ruto who has declared his interest in the presidency and any association with him gives the aspirants upper hand in winning party primaries.
The seat has attracted many aspirants who include Kenya’s ambassador to Pakistan Julius Bitok, Jonathan Bii alias Koti Moka, Veska Kangogo, ambassador Sarah Serem, Ngenyilel MCA David Singoei, Kiptarbei alias governor Baiskeli, Zedekilah Bundotich Bundotich alias Buzeki, David Kaprotuk among others.
Sudi further called in Kenyans to vote for deputy president William Ruto in the forthcoming elections saying he is best suited to take this country to greater heights.
“I want to humbly call upon Kenyans from all divides to vote for the deputy president will Samoei Ruto to be the 5th president. We are not supporting him just because he is a Kalenjin but because of what he is capable of doing to transform this great country of ours,” he said.
