Keiyo South MP Hands Over School Bus to Kapleting’i Secondary School

Keiyo South MP Hon Daniel Rono Daniel Rono handed over school buse Kapleting’i Secondary School at the school grounds.

Hundreds of students, teachers, and parents converged at the NG-CDF office based in Nyaru town for a procession to escort the bus to the school.

The jubilant students welcomed the bus with joy and ululations with song and dance filling the air saying it will help them during education trips across the country.

 

“We are happy that we now have a bus that we can call our own we had many problems since it was hard for us to go on educational trips since we did not have our own bus but now am very happy and I thank our MP for this initiative,” said one of the students.

The MP said that it was a great milestone for the constituency in ensuring that every school gets at least one bus.

 

“The buses will help students during academic trips and extra-curricular activities. As your MP my aim is to ensure that students get quality and not quality education through giving you good infrastructure in which will improve results,” he said.


The Keiyo South MP said the school has seen a great rise in academic performance and a rising number of students adding that it’s one of the best performing schools in the area.

 

The school Principal Mr. Franklin Tonui thanked the MP for handing over the bus to the school which he said will boost the self-esteem of students.

 

“We are very grateful and we promise you that we will work hard and come next year we will have good results that we have never gotten,” he said.
