Kelvin Kiptum Wins London Marathon as He Smashes the Course Record

Kenya’s Kelvin Kiptum has won the London Marathon becoming the second-fastest marathon runner in history.

He clocked a course record of 2:01:27.

This is the second fastest time in history ,only behind Eliud Kipchoge’s World record!

Kiptum has missed Eliud Kipchoge’s World Record by just 18 seconds.

President William Ruto Congratulated him for the win.

“Course record smashed! Hongera Kelvin Kiptum on your decisive win in the 2023 London Marathon. Your incredible skill, mettle, unyielding resolve and dedication have convincingly paid off. Great run from Geoffrey Kamworor for scooping Silver,”he added.
