Kenya Red Cross Society Uasin Gishu Winners Feted
The Kenya Red Cross Society Uasin Gishu chapter held its Annual First Aid competition at the branch.
The competition featured 5 categories that’s Junior, secondary, tertiary, RCAT and Corporate.
The County coordinator madam Alice Njari said the competitions are geared towards equipping first aid knowledge to different categories right from primary school level .
The written exams and practical scenarios were used to judge the winners.
She added that the scenarios displayed were a not just competition but real situations that occur in the community hence the need for first aiders to be ready all the time.
The winners were Junior Category was worn by Greenvale Academy. Secondary Category Segero Advetist High school, Tertiary Category went to ICS college, RCAT tp Uasin Gishu RCAT Team and Corporate Category went to Unga Limited.
