Kenyans Asked to Maintain Peace Before, During and After the August Polls

Kenyans have been asked to maintain peace before, during and after the August Polls .

Speaking at friends church Soy, Soy NCCK representative Wilson Ngaira said elections should not divide Kenyans basing on their political or tribal affiliations since its just a one day affair.

“I want to call upon Kenyans from all divides that as we are heading to the fourthcoming general elections, let’s maintain peace before and after the elections since we only have one Kenya and if we destroy it all of us will perish,” said the Soy NCCK representative.

He said Christians have the responsibility to pray and respect leaders in power since the are chosen by God himself.

“We need to respect the democrat rights of each person be it in Azimio, UDA or any other political party, let’s respect democracy of each person because everyone because everyone has the right to vote for a leader of history her choice and no one should be discriminated for having a contrary decision,” he added.


He advised Kenyans during the voting day to vote and go home and wait for official results there.

“Whether the person you support is elected or not don’t chase your neighboue just because he had a contrary decision since he will continue being your neighbour even after elections and we will continue with our normal duties ,” he advised.

“Kenyans should accept the verdict of the elections for the country to move forward ,” he said.

Ngaira called in Kenyans to help the less fortunate in society by donating anything small that they have.

“When eating ensure that where you are living there is no person sleeping hungry,” he advised.
