Kesses Legislator Dr Swarup Mishra Mourns the Death of Mzee Wilson Kibii Maru
Kesses member of parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra has sent a message of condolences to the family and friends of Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Jonathan Bii alias Koti Moja following the death of his father Mzee Wilson Kibii Maru.
The deceased will be buried at his rural home in Ziwa Uasin Gishu County.
Speaking during a funds drive at Kapsang village, Ziwa Ward, Soy Constituency in Uasin Gishu, Mishra described the deceased as steadfast, visionary, and a lover of education whose fresh thoughts transformed many lives.
“I want to send my message of condolences to the family and friends of Mzee Maru, May God give you strength during this hard time of mourning. Mutyo missing,” said the Kesses legislator during the funds drives to cater for burial expenses.
The drive also aimed at supporting the hospital bill.
“Our sympathies and prayers to the family, friends, and the people of Ziwa during this exceptional y painful time. Rest In Peace, Mzee,” he added.
The Kesses legislator urged residents to embrace peace ahead of this coming electioneering period.
“I want to call upon Uasin Gishu residents to embrace peace before, during, and after the forthcoming elections. Youths don’t be allowed to be used by politicians to cause violence, let us embrace peace since elections are just a one-day affair,” said the Kesses legislator.
The Kesses legislator is among the best performing members of parliament who has empowered youths, people with disability, and women financially.
The Kesses legislator supported them with 10 goats, 4000 glasses of water bottles, foodstuffs, and Ksh. 1 million where he delivered them on Thursday ahead of the burial ceremony.
