Kesses member of parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra has donated bicycles to students in days schools from his constituency.
Dr. Mishra said this will make it easier for them to go and from schools since most of them come from far distances.
“Today I have donated bicycles to needy students who had earlier approached me to help them acquire bicycles to aid them to travel to school since they usually commute for many kilometers to their school, I heard their request and today I have delivered my promise,” said the Kesses Member of parliament after donating the bicycles.
The students came from the trading center Kipchamo Location in Kesses Constituency.
“I will also support them with their fees so that they can continue with their education without being sent away due to lack of school fees. My administration will ensure that students get quality and not quantity education,” he added.
Joan one of the beneficiaries thanked the Kesses legislator for his philanthropic act saying the bicycle will help them.
“I want to thank our member of parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra for helping us, I was walking for over 10 kilometers to school but with the bicycle, I will be reaching school as early as seven. Thank you very much sir May God Bless you abundantly,” she said after receiving the bicycle.
