Kenya Tobacco Control and Health Promotion Alliance abbreviated as KETCA through the very wise and able leadership of the Chairman Mr. Joel Shunza Gitali has continued to unequivocally call out those who aim to ruin our young ones through tobacco and related drugs.
Mr Gitali hailed joint efforts to ban to ban shisha use in the country.
Shisha is a very dangerous thing and whoever smokes it is equivalent to smoking more than twenty packets of cigarettes.
“Don’t be duped by the sweet flavours that Shisha is laced with. It’s so hazardous to your health and carries lots of cancer causing elements in it.
KETCA through Mr Gitali has been very vocal in calling out for a closure of all tobacco and cigarette manufacturing companies since they are the ones that propagate I’ll health including cancer.
KETCA Stands it’s ground that the enormity of the damage, loss and devastation brought about by tobacco can never be equated with the tax the Government claims to levy on the tobacco manufacturers.
