Kinyua Wairatu Calls For Sobriety in Real Estate Bill
Hon. Dr. Kinyua Wairatu, the Chairman of the Real Estate Stakeholders Association (R.E.S.A) has come out to call for a thorough stakeholder involving before passage of the Real Estate Bill.
Among the things that have caused jitters is the phrase in the bill that calls for a lump sum of Kenya Shilling five hundred million for someone to be regular to operate a real estate company
“We are not against the bill. All we are saying is that it’s important to come and let’s have a talk. Come let us reason together,” Hon Dr Kinyua noted.
To express commitment, Dr. Kinyua is the one who came up with the idea of forming a real estate stakeholders association with the main aim of self regulation.
Most legitimate companies joined the association so that Kenyans will not be duped by unscrupulous land dealers
