KMA COMMUNITY SERVICE AT LANET SECONDARY SCHOOL
Kenya Military Academy (KMA) instructors and cadets, over the weekend, held a mentorship session at Lanet Secondary School as part of their community outreach program.
The event, themed ‘Change the Narrative,’ saw cadets engage the learners in various topics including; lack of enthusiasm in academics, substance abuse, early pregnancy and absenteeism. The cadets, in their respective mentorship syndicates, debunked the existing fallacy of exam fever.
The outreach program also provided an opportunity for the cadets to put into practice their leadership skills under KMA’s character development program anchored in the academy’s training.
Cadets together with the students conducted general cleaning of the school and donated assorted items including toiletries, dustbins and sanitary pads for the girls.
Lanet Secondary school fraternity relayed their heartfelt appreciation for the kind gesture.
