KMPDU Issues 14 Days Strike Notice to Kisii County Government

The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) HAS issued a 14-day strike notice to the Kisii County government.

According to the KMPDU Secretary General Davji Atela healthcare workers in Kisii County are facing severe challenges that demand our collective attention.

“From a lack of promotions to persistent salary delays and distressing incidents of violence, these frontline heroes are in desperate need of support,” said the KMPDU boss while speaking to the press.

In a powerful display of unity, the healthcare unions, together with KMPDU. We are joining forces to address these pressing issues head-on. We are urging immediate intervention from the Kisii County government to improve the working conditions for our healthcare professionals. Failure to do so, we have issued a 14-day strike notice,”
