KNUT Wants Ruto, Raila to Dialogue to End Demos
Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) wants President William Ruto and Opposition leader Raila Odinga to Dialogue.
According to the Chepkoilel Branch KNUT executive secretary Sammy Bor said this will bring peace and cool down the political temperatures being witnessed in the Country.
He says the current demonstrations have brought untold suffering to students, especially in Nairobi and areas where the demonstrations have taken place.
“We want the government led by President William Ruto and the opposition leader Raila Odinga to come to the round table and sincerely talk about this matter so that if either party feels aggrieved should listen to one another for the sake of the Country and posterity of this nation,” said the Chepkoilel Branch KNUT executive secretary.
“Whatever is happening one is not for anyone’s interest since no one is harvesting good from this arrangement and we want to condemn with the strongest term possible what the opposition is doing and the government should listen to them,” he added.
