Kore Advises Students to Embrace TVET
Mandera South MP Abdul Haro Kore has advised students to embrace the opportunity that Technical Vocational Education Training TVET presents. He notes,
“Developing life and work skills means equipping learners with relevant knowledge and skills that learners can mobilize independently, efficiently, and ethically to solve problems from a sustainable development perspective.
I take this opportunity to encourage all form 4 leavers from Mandera South Constituency to apply to and join Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in order to acquire several skills in the context of TVET. Some of the specialized areas of learning include carpentry, plumbing, welding, cosmetology, food service, warehouse management, electrical wiring, painting, masonry, floor tiling, roofing and many others.
We are determined to use TVETs as a means of supporting youth employment.
NG-CDF Mandera South office will give special consideration to students from the constituency enrolled in TVET courses for bursary allocation.”
