Mandera South MP Abdul Haro Kore led a spirited tree planting exercise in his constituency, in tandem with President Ruto’s vision of planting 15 billion trees by 2032.
“Residents of Elwak town in Mandera South Constituency joined other Kenyans in commemorating the National Tree Planting Day today. This special day is dedicated to the planting and caring for trees.
The Mandera South Constituency Office and the office of the MP used the occasion to raise awareness about the importance of trees in our environment and encouraged individuals and communities to take action in planting and preserving trees. Trees play a crucial role in mitigating climate change, improving air quality, conserving water, providing habitat for wildlife, and enhancing the overall beauty and health of our surroundings.”
