Langata MP Nixon Korir Speaks After he Was Defeated by Jalango
Langata member of parliament Nixon ko6has spoken after he lost his parliamentary seat
Through his official Facebook page he wrote “To the people of Langata, I sincerely thank you for according me an opportunity to be your Member of Parliament for the last 5 years. Its been a great opportunity that gave me an avenue to contribute to our nation building and service to the people,”said Korir.
He was defeated by ODM”s Felix Oduor alias Jalango who was vying for the first time.
Korir who is a staunch supporter of the deputy president William Samoei Ruto was vying on a UDA party ticket.
Ruto is facing the opposition leader Raila Odinga in the ongoing general elections and it’s our time that will tell if he will be elected or not.
His post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments.
From the results that we’ve tallied at the Generali centre, my competitor Jalango has a lead and I want to congratulate his as he prepares to take the mantle and move Langata forward. Siasa si chuki. God bless Langata.
