Likuyani MP Launches Chuma Moto Super Cup
Likuyani member of parliament Innocent Mugabe officially launched the highly anticipated Chuma Moto Super Cup at the Nangili Primary School grounds in Kongoni Ward, Likuyani Constituency.
The opening match was nothing short of a spectacle as Black Star clashed with Mirembe FC, both teams fiercely pursuing victory.
The first half concluded with a score of 2-1 in favor of Black Star, setting the stage for an intense second half.
A tactical shift from Mirembe FC’s coach in the second half, seemingly inspired by Jose Mourinho’s playbook of parking the bus, prevented further injury to his team, ultimately forcing the game to end 2-1 in his opponent’s favour.
“I witnessed the entire action and have provided high quality set of uniforms to 15 players of each of the participating 70 teams (60 male and 10 female),” he says.
Other scores from Kongoni Ward include: Nangili (3)-Kisigame (0), Nasianda (3)-Small Tiger (0), and Super Eagles 1(4)-Baharini 1(5).
The grand finale is set to unfold on December 27, 2023, at Sango Primary School in Sango Ward.
The match was also attended by Nzoia Ward MCA, Hon. Collins Chapurukha, and officials from the constituency office.
