Man collapses and dies while chatting with friends at a bus park
According to witnesses, the victim stopped breathing before he could be taken to the nearest hospital
Commuters using the main Kisumu bus park were this morning shocked after a man collapsed and died under unclear circumstances.
The man who has been identified as Roy Onyango, aka Ngala, and who worked as a loader at the busy bus terminal, collapsed as he was chatting with his colleagues.
Ochieng Omwa who is an official at the Kisumu bus park said they immediately attempted to rush him to hospital but it was too late.
“Ngala was a very jovial in the morning and was talking with his fellow loaders when this suddenly happened leaving everyone in disbelief,” Omwa told Wananchi Reporting.
According to sources the man had already stopped breathing before he could be rushed to the nearest hospital.
Police officers at the bus park police post were informed, and the body was taken to the mortuary pending probe into the cause of his untimely death.
“We have already informed his immediate family members of the incident and where his body is lying,” Omwa said.
