Governor Jackson Mandago on Sunday presided over the ground breaking of a new proposed development of Reformed Church of East Africa – Kapsengurut in Kaptagat Ward, Ainapkoi Sub-County.
Upon the completion, the church is expected to accommodate approximately 2,000 congregants.
Speaking during the event, Governor Mandago urged the congregation to be committed to do the work of God “and you’ll be blessed.”
Mandago also urged to the Christians to commit to giving tithes and offerings that will help to build the church of God.
The county boss quoted Luke 6:38 which says, “give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
