Mary Maingi Shows Commitment to boost sorghum farming
Mwea MP Mary Maingi is keen to boost and upscale sorghum farming in her Constituency.
“Sorghum farming has been a huge success so far in Mwea, with the crop showing excellent performance even in the absence of sufficient rainfall.
Preparations for the second phase of sorghum farming are now underway, and today, a team from my office, in conjunction with representatives from Kenya Breweries Limited, distributed sorghum seeds to farmers in Kangai and Murinduko Ward.
I am happy because of the impact the first phase had on my farmers, and I look forward to a successful second phase.”
