Mdundo.com in partnership with safaricom launched a subscrition service that will enable Kenyans to access DJ mixes at kshs 5 per day. This subscrition service will also help to improve monetization of music among artist and reshape user experience. By providing a consistent income stream, the partnership supports artists in their persuit of sustainable music careers. A healthy financial pipeline allows artist to focus on creating more music and developing their talents.
The aim of this collaboration is to introduce a suscription plan, a partnership that re-forces commitment to enrich lives through music. Mdundos users grows at 29.2 million monthly active users in Septermber 2023, up from 21.5 million in September 2022 representing a 36% growth. Mdundos focus is to deliver a locally relavent service and content to 613 million mobile subscribers in Africa expected by 2025.
