Mediheal Group of Hospitals Western and Nyanza Branch has donated hand washing tanks to police stations,schools,and market places.
According to  Mediheal hospital Western Kenya Corespondent Dorcas Cherono Saina this is in a bid of preventing them from being infected by coronavirus.
“On behalf of Mediheal Group of Hospitals today we have donated  handwashing tanks to schools,police stations and market places in the Western Kenya region. Our main aim is to ensure that resident wash their hands before and after every activity to prevent them from being infected by COVID-19,” Saina said while speaking to the press.
She said the coronavirus third wave has  wrecked alot of havoc in Western and Nyanza Counties.
“Mediheal Group of Hospitals is in the forefront in helping mitigate the spread by creating awareness and supporting in adhering to the pandemic protocols,” she said.
Saina further called on Kenyans to continue following through directives by the Ministry of health to prevent them from being infected by the virus.
“I want to call upon Kenyans to continue following the directives by the Ministry of health such as washing hands before and after every activity,avoiding overcrowded places,putting on Facemasks and if possible stay at home to prevent further spread of the virus,” she advised.
