Njoroge who is a supervisor at Nairobi metropolitan services felt pain in his hand last year after which he visited several hospitals in the city, but he was treated with only painkillers, the pain was overwhelming, it’s at this point that Samwel Njoroge who comes from Murang’a county decided to visit Nairobi mediheal hospital.
The X-RAY at the hospital showed Njoroge had severe elbow arthritis a rare joint inflammation, which experts has raised concern about it’s raising cases in the country.
Samwel Njoroge was advised to seek surgery in India but due to his financial constraints the father of three who had anticipated for his early retirement as NMS worker because of his deteriorating health couldn’t have afforded Sh 1.5 million to sh 2 million required by India hospitals.
Mediheal hospital came to his rescue at the last minute of his desperation, Njoroge had to spend Sh 400,000 only and the whole bill was cleared by NHIF cover.The successful elbow surgeries done at Mediheal Group of Hospitals will be great relief to needy patients in Kenya and Sub Sahara Africa as a whole.
