Meet Jane Okumu a Dedicated Culinary Trainer and Entrepreneur

Meet Jane Okumu, a member of the Ngong Juakali Association and the founder of Royal Caters, located within Ngong CIDC.

Jane is a certified Hospitality Management trainer accredited by @nita_kenya

At Royal Caters, she extends her expertise by offering culinary and food and beverage training programs to the youth in the community. In addition to its educational role, Royal Caters plays a vital role in providing food and beverage services to MSEs operating within the CIDC.

Furthermore, the restaurant serves as an attachment center for culinary and food and beverage students from the African Peace Missions Training Institute, situated within Ngong CIDC.

This institute focuses on equipping youth with special needs within the community with valuable skills, offering short-term courses in various fields, including computer skills and hospitality courses.

Jane’s commitment to community development is exemplified by her impressive track record of training approximately 28 students since the inception of Royal Caters.
