Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja last week unveiled the electronic Unified Business Permit (UBP) to ease doing business and collection of revenue.
UBP combines the business, fire, food, health, and advertising licenses into one and will be accessed online via the county’s NairobiPay Revenue service.
Governor Sakaja terms the move as part of his campaign promises saying it will bolster service delivery and streamline the process of acquiring permits by entrepreneurs.
