Moiben Constituency Celebrates Major Government Service Milestone
Moiben Constituency is on the cusp of a significant transformation with the establishment of the 170th Civil Registration Services Centre, marking a crucial step towards ensuring access to essential government services for its residents.
Spearheaded by the Ministry of Interior, this move aims to alleviate the burden of travel for locals seeking critical services.
In a landmark event held today, Moiben MP, Prof. Phylis Bartoo, expressed gratitude to the national government, particularly the Ministry of Interior, for selecting Moiben Constituency as the site for this mini Huduma Centre. This development underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and efficiency in service delivery.
Adding to the day’s celebrations, Uwezo Fund cheques totaling 3 million Kenyan shillings were disbursed to various women and youth groups, further empowering them to pursue their entrepreneurial endeavors and contribute to the economic growth of the constituency.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Hon. Ambassador Julius Bitok, the Ps Immigration and E-Services, whose presence underscored the importance of the occasion. Also in attendance were notable figures such as Uasin Gishu County Commissioner, Mr. Eddison Nyale, Moiben Deputy Commissioner Solomon Kitai, as well as local administrators, including Chiefs, Sub-Chiefs, and village elders, all united in their support for the constituency’s development.
Special recognition was extended to Moiben Sub County’s elected MCAs, led by Deputy Speaker and MCA for Kimumu, Hon. Sarah Malel, and Host MCA, Hon. Hillary Kipchumba, alongside Hon. James Serem, Hon. Keitany, Hon. Evans Kapkea, and nominated MCAs Hon. Rebecca, Hon. Jewel, and Hon. Veronica, for their unwavering commitment to the constituency’s progress.
