Moiben MP Prof Bartoo Engages Community Leaders on Security and Development Initiatives

Moiben MP Prof. Phylis Bartoo held a productive consultative meeting at Ainabtich Police Station, bringing together OCS, ACC from Sergoit Division, the Chepkoilel location chief, village elders, and the entire security team.

The discussion focused on enhancing security in Kimumu Ward, addressing local challenges, and strategizing on effective solutions to ensure the safety of residents.

Following the security meeting, Prof. Bartoo met with a group of bodaboda riders from Hawaii. This group, which has recently formed a self-help group, shared their success stories with the MP, highlighting their commitment to savings and mutual support.

Impressed by their progress, Prof. Bartoo pledged to empower these riders and encourage the formation and registration of more self-help groups and saccos. This initiative aims to bolster their daily activities and help curb criminal activities by promoting legitimate and organized economic opportunities.

In the final leg of her visit, Prof. Bartoo engaged with opinion leaders from Kimumu Ward to discuss the ongoing efforts to establish a Mega Huduma Centre in Ainabtich. She expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project, reaffirming her commitment to improving public service delivery and community welfare in the region.

Through these engagements, Prof. Bartoo is reinforcing her dedication to both security and development, working collaboratively with community members and leaders to foster a safer and more prosperous environment for Kimumu Ward.
