Moiben MP Prof. Phylis Bartoo Celebrates Educational Milestones in Kimumu

In a momentous day for Kimumu, Moiben MP Prof. Phylis Bartoo officially inaugurated the complete renovation of six classrooms at Kimumu Primary School.

The upgrade, aimed at enhancing the learning environment, was warmly received by the school management, teachers, and pupils.

Following this, Prof. Bartoo visited Kimumu Secondary School to mark two significant events. At the school’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), she officially opened the new students’ dining hall, a key development designed to improve student welfare. Additionally, she launched the new C+ Club, an initiative spearheaded by teachers and students to boost university transition rates. The club’s goal is to ensure that 90% of secondary school graduates advance to higher education institutions.

The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Members of the County Assembly, Hon. Rebecca and Hon. Cherono, Chairman NG-CDF Moiben Hon. Komen, and Area Assistant Chief Chepkoilel Sub-Location Mr. Maswai. The ceremony also saw the participation of parents, teachers, pupils, and the broader Kimumu community.

Prof. Bartoo’s visit underscored her commitment to improving educational facilities and fostering academic success within the community.
