Moiben MP, Prof. Phylis Bartoo, Revives Youth Empowerment Centre with Ambitious Upgrades

After a hiatus spanning 16 years, the youth empowerment center in Tembelio, under the visionary leadership of Moiben Member of Parliament, Prof. Phylis Bartoo, is set to reclaim its role as a hub for community development and growth.

With a bold investment of 4 million shillings, the center, fondly known as “Tembelio Taptengelei,” has undergone extensive renovations and expansions, promising to offer an array of services to the youth and the wider public.

The revamped center aims to be a comprehensive resource hub, offering a multitude of facilities and activities to cater to the diverse needs of the community.

Among the highlights are state-of-the-art cyber and computer rooms, a well-stocked library, and free WiFi access, empowering youths with valuable digital literacy skills and access to information.

In addition to academic pursuits, Tembelio Taptengelei will also serve as a recreational haven, boasting indoor and outdoor games facilities where young minds can engage in healthy competition and leisure activities. Moreover, the center will feature a spacious social and meeting hall, providing a conducive environment for gatherings, workshops, and community events.
