Moisbridge Ward MCA Advice on Elnino Rains
Moisbridge Ward MCA Bishop Patrick Kimeli has urged Kenyans to be vigilant during this Elnino rainy season.
Speaking to the press after presenting a motion in the County Assembly on the same, Kimeli said Kenyans should make sure that they cover their water wells to avoid water born diseases.
“Avoid toilets that might sink. Watch on flooding, keep warm ,ensure you school children be at home early,” said the Moisbridge Ward MCA.
Kenya Meteorological Department warned that above-average rain is expected in various parts of the country in October-November-December.
” Those in lower areas should watch on their safety. It’s a season where malari cases will be rampant, pneumonia among others,” he added.
