More than 400 employees of Rivatex East Africa have today received their COVID-19 booster jabs.

The jabs were administered at the facility by medics from Uasin Gishu county medics drawn based at Pioneer hospital in Eldoret.

The exercise which took place at the facility is an extension of the previous vaccination where the management organized for employees to receive the set two doses.

The medics vaccinated all the employees who have completed their primary regimens six months earlier.

The management is keen on ensuring that all employees at the vertically integrated textile mill remain healthy even as they discharge their duties effectively.

“We have had a smooth process and we thank the County government for heeding our vaccination request. As a facility, we are keen on our employee’s welfare and health,” said Corporate Communications Manager Mr. Silah Koskei.

He called on those who have not taken the jab to do so since it has no side effects.

“I want to call upon Kenyans to go for the booster  jab since its safe and does not have any side effects. Let’s ensure that we have it since its for our own good,” Corporate Communications Manager Mr. Silah Koskei.
