Mrembo na Kazi shares with us about inua jamii
Inua Jamii is a special fund managed by the Ministry of Gender and Social Services.
It focuses on providing support to specific groups of individuals, including the elderly, those living with severe disabilities, and vulnerable children.
The first phase of Inua Jamii registration in Bahati Ward was launched this morning. The registration process will continue until September 15, 2023, and will be conducted at designated chief’s offices.
The main objective of this initiative is to offer essential assistance to community members who fall into the following categories:
Persons who are 70 years old and above.
Households that include orphans and vulnerable children.
Households that are taking care of individuals with severe disabilities.
