Mwea MP Hosts DP
Mwea Member of Parliament Mary Maingi Friday afternoon, joined Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and other leaders from the Mt. Kenya Region in the commissioning of a new production line of flour products by Raha Premium in Kutus, Kirinyaga County.
She notes”I am impressed by the proprietor, Mr. Chomba, who has created employment opportunities for over 1,000 young people in the company which has a capacity to produce up to 1,000 metric tonnes of flour products in a day.
Adding value to our agricultural produce and ensuring young people have a place to anchor themselves is a great accomplishment and a key enabler in the economic transformation of our country.
