In a proactive move towards fostering development and curbing the harmful impacts of illicit alcohol, Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihika has enacted two pivotal bills. The Nakuru County Revenue Allocation (Amended) Act and The Nakuru County Alcoholic Drinks (Amended) Act have been signed into law, marking a significant stride in the county’s governance strategy.

The Alcoholic Drinks Act, a cornerstone of the legislative agenda, aims to regulate the production, sale, and consumption of alcohol to protect public health.
