Needy and bright students from Aldai Acuse Their MP For Failing to Distribute Bursaries
Needy and bright students from Aldai constituency have accused the area MP Cornelius Serem for failing to give them bursaries despite qualifying for the same.
Speaking to the press they said they have now been send away from school for fees.
“it is sad that despite us qualifying to be given bursaries we have not gotten it forcing us to be send home, why is our MP doing this to us yet some of us cannot even afford a single meal per day?” said Chepkoech Joan.
They further said most of them will be forced to drop out of school if they bursaries are not paid on time.
“Our only hope was the bursaries and if up-to now we have not gotten our future is in jeopardy, it sad that out MP is some where enjoying himself in the name of a holiday with his family , surely we are dissapointed and we lack words to express our dissatisfaction,” John Koech said.
They wondered why students from other constituencies have been given their bursaries while those from Aldai Constituency are still waiting for miracles to happen.
“Our friends from Nandi Hills gave already gotten their bursaries and are continuing with their education, why is ours taking ages to materialize or is there something you are not telling us, mheshimiwa our future lies in your hands and if we will not get the bursaries we will perish,” they added.
