New Yako Supermarket is set to open its second branch at the heart of Eldoret town this Friday, July 9, 2021.
The New Yako Supermarket Household Branch will be taking up the space that had been vacated by Nakumatt supermarket a few years ago, and later occupied by Krystal Matt who recently closed the branch.
In the new branch, New Yako Supermarket will be offering a variety of unique services – an upgrade from the current branch, including taking away for fast foods, grocery, pharmacy, furniture’s, electronics, fast-moving consumer goods such as beverages, and a one of its kind wines and spirits section.
“The wines and spirits section has stocked over 300 different types of wines from different countries, all arranged in a way that our customers can easily find their favorite variety,” said the New Yako Supermarket Household branch manager Stella Kung’u.
The new branch has offered over 80 direct jobs to the locals and will also benefit at least 50 local suppliers.
“We have the fairest prices when it becomes to pricing, all goods are available under one roof, we have a pharmacy, grocery, kitchenware all thee foodstuffs, furniture among others,” she said.
She urged residents to show up in large numbers
during the official opening ceremony at exactly 10 am.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago is expected to officially open the supermarket located next to Equity Bank, along the Oginga Odinga Street.
