Oliver Kibor Declares Interest for the Huruma Ward Seat

Oliver Kibor  has declared his interest for the Huruma Ward seat.

The seat fell vacant after  the incumbent  Peter Kiiru Chomba  succumbed to Covid-19 one month ago.

Speaking to the press Kibor said he will ensure that project which were started by the deceased are completed.

“I want to declare today that I will be vying for the Huruma Ward seat in the fourthcoming by-election.I will ensure that the projects that the deceased left are completed on time,”
Kibor said he will be vying using Maendeleo Chap Chap party.

“I will fight for the rights of hawkers since they are always  mistreated by County askaris  as if they don’t have the right to do business in the county. If someone has done a mistake take him or her to court and not beating here. Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago should tell his askaris that business men have a right to work in the county and should not be mistreated,” he added.
Kibor said that he will ensure that security lights are installed across the ward which will improve security in the ward.

“As I am talking cases of insecurity have increased due to lack of security lights. I will ensure that security lights are installed to improve security. I will also ensure that I improve infrastructure,” Kibor added.

He said that he will enhance Eldoret Market Sacco to be Eldoret Market Limited  where many people will invest.

It is only time that will tell if he will be elected as Huruma Ward MCA or not.

The Huruma by-election will be conducted on March 4, 2021.
